How the 13F stock rankings work
The ranking list is produced by the V3 research process from reported 13F activity. Holder counts describe how many included managers own a stock, while new, increasing, and reducing counts summarize changes between reported quarters. Average weight measures the stock's average share of reporting portfolios.
What the star chart measures
Historical lines group stocks by the star rating assigned at the start of each completed measurement window. Returns are then compounded quarter by quarter and compared with SPY. Current or incomplete quarters remain outside the chart to avoid implying results that have not been observed.
